Product Details

 

The gasket of the plate heat exchanger mainly serves to seal between the heat exchange plates. The materials are: nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, fluorine rubber, etc. Different rubbers are used according to different media. The rubber pad is flexible, which is good for sealing and easy to disassemble! Each pad is designed according to the shape of each heat exchanger plate, which has a very good sealing!

1. It has good resistance to water,water vapor and superheated water.Water is a material with strong polarity,and EPDM rubber belongs to high molecular alkane,having excellent hydrophobicity,and applicable to gas-water and water-water exchange.

2. Good resistance to weather,ageing,ozone and coldness.

3. Resistance to olefine acid,weak base and salt corrosion.

4. Resistance to alcohol,acid(formic acid,acetic acid),oxidizing agent,detergent and ketone;good chemical mediator stability.

 

Attention:EPDM rubber does not have resistance to the corrosion of oil and petroleum base products,or oxidizing acid,aromatic hydrocarbon,ester,benzene,alkyl or ammonia chemical mediator,and is not applicable to intermittent working condition.

Attention:butyronitrile rubber does not have resistance to the corrosion of oxidizing acid,aromatichydrocarbon,ester,ketone,halogenated hydrocarbon and other strong solvent.When the temperature is on the high side,the corrosion rasistance will reduce greatly.

Attention:because fluorine rubber is polar rubber,its physical and mechanical properties such as resilience and compression set,and resistance to superheated water and saturated vapor are relatively poor. It is not resistance to acetaldehyde,acetone,ammonia and other chemical medium.
