First, industrial steam is used to vaporize high-temperature pure water into clean steam through the plate shell and plate bundle, and then the half-volume heat exchanger is used as a preheater, and the low-temperature pure water is improved by the steam-water mixture after passing through the steam generator. Realize full utilization of industrial steam.

The half-volume heat exchanger as a preheater solves two difficulties. First of all, it is a mixture of soda and water to heat pure water. This working condition generally requires pure water to be heated from 20°C to 110°C. The temperature difference is large. It is difficult to realize shell-and-tube heat exchangers, while half-volume heat exchangers are highly efficient and easy. Split process can solve this problem well; secondly, the mixture of soda and water is prone to "water hammer", which is easy to cause leakage for general equipment, and the fully welded half-volume heat exchanger is suitable for this working condition.
