Due to the long-term operation of the plate heat exchanger, the surface of the infectious plate will produce different degrees of dirt or deposits, which will increase the flow resistance and reduce the heat transfer performance. Therefore, it must be checked and cleaned.

Specific steps are as follows:

1. Close all inlet and outlet valves of the plate heat exchanger, and drain the fluid in the heat exchanger.

2. The floor-mounted plate-type heat exchanger can be removed from the system, and then replaced with the self-provided extension bolt for loading and unloading, then loosen the clamping bolt evenly, disassemble the equipment for cleaning.

3. For the frame-type plate heat exchanger, it can be disassembled from the system, directly loosen the clamping bolt evenly and remove it, tilt the direction of the movable compression plate, and then remove it from the hanging buckle of the upper guide rod, and make the heat transfer The lower end of the plate is also separated from the lower guide rod, and then the heat transfer plate can be taken out.

4. When scrubbing the heat transfer plates, only use copper wire brushes or fiber brushes. Do not use steel wire brushes to avoid damage to the heat transfer plates and reduce corrosion resistance. Care should also be taken not to damage the sealing gasket when scrubbing.

5. After the heat transfer plate is cleaned, rinse it with clean water and wipe the sealing gasket with a clean cloth or cotton yarn.

6. The aging gaskets should be replaced. For gaskets that require adhesives, the bonding method is: remove the aging gaskets, then clean the debris in the plate groove, and use the adhesive to replace The new gasket is fixed, and it can be re-assembled and clamped to L size after curing for 24 hours.

7. If the plate heat exchanger is not used for a long time, the bolts should be loosened to the size of 1.1-1.2L, and then clamped as required when using.

8. When the plate heat exchanger is running frequently, if there is any medium outflow in the signal hole, it should be analyzed. If the bolt is loose or elongated due to long-term heat exchange, re-clamp it as required, but it must not be too tight to avoid crushing. The heat transfer plate should be replaced if the gasket is aged.
