Why is there a leak in the heat exchange unit?
Latest company news about Why is there a leak in the heat exchange unit?
Leakage often occurs when using heat exchanger units. Such a situation is caused by imperfect sealing, such as leakage due to high-pressure fluid cutting. What other reasons are the leakage of heat exchanger units?

1. The influence of temperature difference

There is a temperature difference between the heat exchanger flange, cylinder, bolt, pipe box, and gasket, which causes uneven thermal expansion and contraction of each part, resulting in leakage of the flange gasket of the heat exchanger unit.

2. The influence of temperature on the gasket

This problem occurs because the flange of the heat exchange unit uses a cushion made of oil-resistant asbestos rubber sheet. When the gasket is exposed to a high temperature of 55~120℃ for a long time, it will age and lose its elasticity, causing the cushion to leak. .

3. The influence of temperature on material performance

The sealing of the floating head cover and the floating head tube plate of the heat exchange unit is that two hooks are clamped on the back of the tube plate to form a hook flange, which is connected by bolts. The hook flange is integrally processed and cut into two pieces.

If the hook ring, bolts and other materials are kept in a high temperature environment of 100~120℃ for a long time, the mechanical properties will be reduced, and creep and stress relaxation will occur at this time. This will lead to a reduction in the amount of compression of the flange on the cushion and eventually puncture.
